The State Auditor has filed a report showing problems with an employee who handled some payroll operations at the Glenwood Resources Center in Glenwood. The special investigation by the state Auditor was requested by officials of the center over some client payroll transactions that didn’t look right. The investigation found nearly eight-thousand dollars in misappropriated funds from altered time sheets. The report says there were over 15-hundred instances where the information on the wage sheets exceeded the amount actually earned by the clients. Sara Ganske, the employee in charge of those time sheets was fired in January. The report has been sent to the Glenwood Police Department, the Mills County Attorney, and the Attorney General’s office for possible criminal action.
