Bank robbed in Dubuque

July 15, 2004 By admin

The second bank robbery attempt this week in Dubuque proved successful.A man entered the bank, handed the teller a note and demanded money. He did not display a weapon and left with an undetermined amount of cash, apparently using a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later found abandoned near Rickardsville. Dubuque police say a passerby may’ve given the man a ride. Earlier this week a Wisconsin man attempted to rob another Dubuque bank, but fled without any cash and was caught in Illinois.
