Convicted murderer involved in domestic dispute

August 4, 2004 By admin

A former Davenport chiropractor who just got released from prison after serving two decades for killing his wife apparently has a girlfriend, and cops have been called in to referee the relationship. Davenport cops were called to Jim Klindt’s home yesterday to break-up a domestic dispute. Cops say Klindt and his girlfriend apparently had a fight. Klindt was charged with a misdemeanor and interfering with a police officer. Klindt was released from prison earlier this year after serving the full, 20-year sentence for killing his wife. Her body parts were found in the Mississippi River. Prosecutors say Klindt cut his wife up with a chain saw. Klindt was found guilty of second-degree murder.
