Undecided, wavering voter target of Bush/Kerry

August 7, 2004 By admin

Polls show a tight Bush/Kerry race in Iowa and that’s the reason both major party presidential candidates were in Iowa this past week. Tim Schlein of Dubuque is one of the voters the candidates and their campaigns are targeting. Schlein says personally, he kind of thinks Bush should win, but he’s still “one of those on the fence voters” who is willing to consider Kerry. Schlein was among the crowd of 5000 who turned out Tuesday in Dubuque to see Kerry speak. Schleim says he’s looking for a candidate who has “strong leadership qualities.” Schleim says Bush “isn’t going to take too much from anybody” but Schleim is still considering whether Kerry can “take us in a better direction.”
