Two people were killed in a single-vehicle accident on Saturday in western Iowa’s Monona County. A pickup truck driven by 49-year-old Gordon Arens of Moorhead went off a county road and hit a creek embankment. Arens was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, 41-year-old Justin Kephart of Magnolia, was taken to a Sioux City hospital where he died. The accident is under investigation.
