Teenager killed, two others injured in NE IA car wreck

October 4, 2004 By admin

A 17-year-old Cresco girl was killed early Sunday in a one-vehicle accident in northeast Iowa’s Winneshiek County. Anna Lindell was killed when she was ejected from the car in the crash while two other teens were injured. Fifteen-year-old Amanda Stage of Cresco was a passenger while 18-year-old Christopher Wetherington of Cresco was driving. Authorities say Wetherington lost control of the vehicle on a gravel road and it rolled several times. Counselors will be at Crestwood High today.
