Kerry visits Tipton

October 5, 2004 By admin

Democrat Presidential candidate John Kerry is visiting the state today. Kerry is appearing in Tipton in Cedar County, a county that had a staring role in the razor-thin Bush/Gore contest four years ago. On election day, Cedar County’s vote tally was split evenly among Bush and Gore. After the absentee votes were counted, Gore won the county by just two votes. Kerry will focus on domestic issues, talking with three Tipton residents about their financial situations.
