Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says he does not even think about streaks. The Cyclones host Texas A@M on Saturday night in their annual homecoming game and will try to snap an 11-game Big-12 losing streak that dates back to the 2002 season. McCarney says he doesn’t pay any attention to it, he says it’s this team this week. He says he wants the team to improve and to be successful. Texas A@M is 3-1 and McCarney says the Aggies are physically imposing with all their line weighing in at over 300 pounds. Stevie Hicks remains the starter at running back but McCarney says with his health improving true freshman Jason Scales will see action this week. McCarney says Scales missed some practices with injuries, but is ready to go.
