Two Western Iowa teens who disappeared from school Monday afternoon have been found safe and sound. Atlantic police say the girls, 13-year old Mikel (mick-ell) Ann Martens and 14-year old Natosha Lynn Hoyt, were discovered at a local rock quarry last (Tuesday) night. The teens were reported missing after they failed to return home after they left the grounds of the Atlantic Middle School when classes were dismissed Monday. Officials would not elaborate on where the teens had been since they were reported missing, or why they left. They would only say the teens had run away from home, and had not been abducted.
