A man from the western Iowa town of Carroll is headed to court after his arrest last month for driving a lawn mower on a public street. Forty-four-year-old Scott Limbrecht was arrested and handcuffed as he drove the mower to his mother’s house from a gas station, where he’d filled the tank. Police say Limbrecht’s driver’s license had been revoked previously, meaning he’s prohibited from driving any motor vehicle. Limbrecht says he’ll challenge his arrest and the state’s definition of a motor vehicle when he goes to court, though a date has not yet been set.
