Kimballton man charged with taking store stuff

October 19, 2004 By admin

A man from the western Iowa town of Kimballton is charged with ripping off a grocery store and a grocery warehouse. 38-year-old Thomas Carney Junior turned himself in Monday to the Audubon County Sheriff’s office on an outstanding warrant for possession of stolen property. A search warrant served at Carney’s home in July resulted in law officers finding items allegedly stolen from the HyVee in Harlan and the HyVee warehouse in Cherokee. Carney is held on 97-hundred-50 dollars bond.
