The UNI volleyball team will go for their 7th straight win tonight as they play at Iowa State. The Panthers have dominated their in-state opponents as they’ve won 26-consecutive matches against intrastate teams. Iowa State is just 8-10 overall but UNI coach Bobbi Petersen feels the Cyclones are much improved this season. She says they’ve always had the front court, but their ball control has improved a lot, allowing them to run some more things offensively. As she said above Peterson says they also have a legitimate setter that helps their offense.Northern Iowa is 13-6 on the year heading into their match at Ames.
