CF hopes to corral Dubuque back and stay perfect

October 21, 2004 By admin

Class 4-A 4th ranked Cedar Falls will put their unbeaten streak on the line as they travel to Dubuque to take on Dubuque Senior tonight. The Tigers are 7-0 while the Rams are 2-5. Senior is led by tailback Jamie Murphy. Murphy is coming off a mind boggling 382-yards, 7-touchdown effort last week against Cedar Rapids Xavier. Cedar Falls coach Pat Mitchell on what makes Murphy so good, speed and the ability to break tackles in the open field. Mitchell is very aware that a victory this evening would make the Rams season. He says it would and they have the capability to really do some damage.
