Grassley calls Kerry’s claim on missing explosives "a big joke"

October 26, 2004 By admin

Reports say some 377 tons of explosives has vanished from a former Iraqi military facility which democrat presidential nominee John Kerry says shows the Bush administration’s incompetence. Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley, a republican, says it doesn’t show anything of the sort. Grassley says fault can’t be determined until a complete investigation is done. He says what Kerry is saying is “a big joke” since Kerry’s been “on three sides of every issue in the war in Iraq since he started the campaign.”
