November 1, 2004 By admin

A weekend chase in Sioux City left several smashed vehicles and a suspect in jail. 26-year-old Fernando Jaimes-Martinez of Sioux City was arrested early Saturday morning after leading police on a chase police say involved drunk driving, striking parked cars and assault. Jaimes-Martinez is charged with interferance with official acts, disarming a police officer, elluding police and two counts of assault on an officer. He was also charged with second-offense drunk driving, having an open container of alcohol in a moving vehicle, driving while barred, carrying a knife, no insurance, wreckless driving and other charges.
