There was a shooting and a car chase and crash last night in Cedar Rapids. Police were called out about nine o’clock last night on the report of a shooting. They found that 18-year-old Ronald Corbet Junior had been shot in the buttocks. Corbet was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police got reports from witnesses and later spotted the car, which sped away. Police gave chase and the car hit a retaining wall. Three of the four occupants of the car were arrested and the fourth escaped and was arrested later. Police have not released the names of the people in the car.
