An east-central Iowa man is charged in the theft of some 88-thousand bushels of grain. Bradley James Iverson of Grinnell was arrested by Newton police on a warrant out of Toledo for first-degree theft. The 26-year old was formerly an employee of the Toledo-based North Side Grain elevator, from which the bushels disappeared over a two-year period. According to the company, the grain had an estimated value of over 226-thousand dollars. Iverson posted bail and was released. The Tama County Sheriff’s Office and Toledo Police are still investigating the case.
