Grinnell goes on the road to Carroll College

November 6, 2004 By admin

The Grinnell College Pioneers will be on the road to face Carroll College of Wisconsin this afternoon. Grinnell comes into action 4-4 overall, 3-4 in the Midwest Conference. Coach Greg Wallace says Carroll is a good football team with a young aggressive quarterback. This will be the youngest team that Grinnell will see this year, as they only start one or two seniors.
Grinnell will be looking for their first road win of 2004, and Wallace says they always talk about wanting to beat the teams that you match up with on an equal basis, and this appears to be one of those games.
With one more game remaining after the contest at Carroll, Wallace would like to see this team double their win output from last year. He says the seniors are focused and want to do their very best.
