In the class A semifinals this afternoon tenth rated North Mahaska edged number-seven Northwood-Kensett 21-17. Northwood Kensett scored first, but North Mahaska scored twice before the end of the first half to lead 14-7. Eick Parker returned a fumble 87 yards four a touchdown to tie up the game 14-14. Levi Ferguson scored a four-yard touchdown to cap along drive and give North Mahaska the win.
