Two teens from eastern Iowa are charged in a mini crime spree that ended with one of the boys getting fished out of the river. The case began when Clinton police took a report about 11 P.M. Thursday of a stolen truck. About that time police across the river in Fulton, Illinois got a report of a crash that turned out to involve that stolen truck. When a Fulton police office tried to stop two suspicious males walking across the Highway 30 bridge over the Mississippi River, one of them jumped over the side into the river. Rescue crews pulled 19-year-old Dustin Stage of Clinton from the water and he’s in Clinton’s Mercy hospital being treated for hypothermia. Authorities say he’ll be charged later. 17-year-old Jason Harlock of Clinton is being held in Illinois.
