Davenport police are looking for the people who allegedly shot and killed a man from the neighboring town of Buffalo on Saturday night. The incident took place in a Davenport alley. 44-year-old Alvern Kensinger Junior was shot to death while a woman who was with him was injured. The suspects are identified as 18-year-old Stephen Toliver and 21-year-old Devals Nelson, both of Davenport. Lieutenant Don Gano says the motive isn’t clear.The woman who was injured, 36-year-old Lisa Taylor (no address given), managed to drive herself and Kensinger to the hospital after the shooting, but Kensinger was pronounced dead on arrival. Taylor is recovering from two gun shots to the lower torso. Gano says Toliver and Nelson are both wanted on a charge of murder.
