Iowa State University linebacker Erik Anderson says he will have an enjoyable Thanksgiving. Anderson and his Cyclone teammates are preparing for their regular season finale at home against Missouri and a possible trip to the Big-12 Championship game, a much better scenario than a year ago at this time when ISU took a 2-9 record to Missouri. He says last year at the Thanksgiving break people just wanted the season to be over and they couldn’t go home for the holiday because they had to travel to Missouri. He says Missouri is a good team and they look forward to a tough and fun game. These are two teams going in opposite directions. The Cyclones have won four straight while the Tigers have lost their last five. Anderson says Missouri quarterback Brad Smith it still one of the league’s top players on offense. He says Smith was a Heisman type guy coming in and after watching the film, he sees that he’s the “real deal” and can make you miss a tackle and look stupid. The Cyclones are 6-4.
