ISU fans focus on Nebraska-Colorado game

Iowa State’s trip to the Big-12 Championship could be assured later today if Nebraska beats Colorado. The Huskers host the Buffaloes later today in Lincoln and they will have plenty of motivation. Nebraska needs a win to avoid have a string of consecutive seasons with bowl games snapped at 35.Husker coach Bill Callahan says it’s important to carry on that streak. He says the Colorado defense is much better than the numbers project.At 6-4, Colorado is already bowl eligible and coach Gary Barnett says the Buffs know they need help in the division race. He says he’s just glad to be there and they feel one more win would put them in a better position, and one win with a Missouri win would put them in an even better position.Barnett says it is always a big challenge to play Nebraska on the road.
