Luther women open conference with key rival

The Luther College women enter Iowa Conference play with a record of 3-0. Coach Jane Hildebrand has an experienced team that finished fourth in the league race a year ago with a 9-7 record. She says its one of her most talented and athletic groups of players. Hildebrand says one of their biggest strengths is depth, going 10 to 11 deep.Luther opens the conference race at arch-rival Wartburg Tuesday night. She says it’s a tough rivalry to play in their building where the crowd is right on top of you. Hildebrand says the key will be who can control the pressure.
