The in-state series continues tonight in Cedar Falls as Iowa State visits UNI. The Cyclones are 3-0 after winning their own tournament over the weekend, the Panthers are 1-1 after squandering an 18-point lead in a loss at Cincinnati. Panther coach Greg McDermott says it’s a good game to play on the heels of the Cinncinnati game, as he says the Cyclones are also very athletic. He says they’ll run and trap and have an outstanding back court. He says he’d like to think they can match some of the guard play with the experience his team has. McDermott says they have more experience in the depth of their guard court, and hopefully that will be a factor. Iowa State has won the last five games against UNI, including the last two in Cedar Falls.
