ISU downs Howard Sunday

Iowa State led from start to finish as the Cyclones cruised past Howard 92-75 on Sunday in Hilton Coliseum. Freshman guard Tasheed Carr on the post-game show on the Cyclone Network said they wanted to come out and put the loss to Iowa behind them and get going early. It was Carr’s third straight game in the starting lineup. He says he’s just trying to do the little things, and play great defense.Jared Homan led ISU with 17-points and 14 different Cyclones scored in the contest.Coach Wayne Morgan says they got a lot of guys involved and it was a good way to go into their finals. The Cyclone’s are now 5-2. The have final exams this week and return to action next Sunday at home against Wagner.
