Iowa State’s depth was the difference on Sunday. The Cyclones got 36-points from the reserves to fight off Wagner 62-50 in Hilton Colesium. Iowa State coach Wayne Morgan on his post-game show on the Cyclone Network says Wagner came in with a good game plan to not let I-S-U’s top three beat them. Morgan says they learned that their ben can come on and make shots. John Neal led the way for the reserves. He finished five of six from three point range and had a game-high 16-points. He says Neal does the other aspects of the game, like passing the ball and playing defense. The Cyclones improve to 6-2.
