The Iowa State football team will get in a few more practices this week before leaving on Thursday for the December 28th Independence Bowl where they will play Miami of Ohio. It is the second time the Cyclones have played in game. I-S-U coach Dan McCarney says the hospitality is “phenomenal” and he says they’re excited about having the Cyclones come back. Miami of Ohio finished the regular 8-4 and lost in the Mid-American Conferece title game. The Cyclones finished the regular season 6-5. McCarney says there’s a lot of excitement about finishing the season on a positive note and sending the the seniors out on a positive note.
