Drake fell to an avalanche of Southern Utah three pointers in the second half in a 94-74 loss on Monday night. The Bulldogs were right in the game at the halftime break trailing 44-42 before the Thunderbirds opened the second half with an 8-0 run. Drake coach Tom Davis on his post-game show on KRNT in Des Moines says his team has to play the full 40 minutes to be able to win on the road. Davis says the Bulldogs were sluggish to start the second half, and that lack of rebounding and execution hurt them.Drake is now 2-5 and returns to action at home on Thursday against Wagner.
