As he prepares for the Capital One Bowl against LSU, Iowa punter David Bradley is glad he stuck it out. The native of San Diego struggled his freshman season, there were times he thought about leaving the Hawkeye team and giving up on football. Bradley is part of a senior class that has helped take the program from the bottom of the Big Ten to a second conference title this season in three years, plus a third straight January bowl game. The Hawkeyes take a 9-2 record into the matchup New Year’s Day with LSU.
