Donations are pouring in for a family left homeless after a Christmas Eve fire in north-central Iowa. Bob Jorgensen and his five children are homeless after a fire destroyed their house between Mason City and Nora Springs on Friday night. The children were taken to Mercy Medical Center-North Iowa in Mason City after the fire to be checked over for smoke inhalation, but all okay. The Jorgensen family has moved in with their grandmother in Mason City since they lost everything in the fire. People wishing to donate clothing and other basic items for the Jorgensen family can call the Nora Springs Fire Department at 641-749-5483 to make arrangements.
