The Drake Bulldogs continue a three-game homestand Saturday night when they host Bradley in Missouri Valley Conference play. The Bulldogs are 1-3 in the Valley and 4-7 overall and one of the best additions to coach Tom Davis’ team has been 6-8 center Alou Keita. The former Iowa City Regina standout transfered from Tulsa and is second on the team in scoring at 11 and a half points per game and leads the team in rebounding. He has provided a much-needed inside presence for the Bulldogs.Davis says the Bulldogs play a different style with Keita in the game. He says you have to adjust to that at both ends of the floor to take advantage of him in the game.Bradley has been one of the Valley’s biggest surprises. The Braves are 10-2, their best start since the 1993-94 season.
