Kansas coach Bill Self is no stranger to “Hilton magic” and will take his second ranked Jayhawks to Ames for tomorrow night’s matchup with an Iowa State team looking to bounce back from a loss in its Big-12 opener at Missouri.Self says it’s always been one of the best venues in the league. He is hoping for a better outcome than last year’s 68-61 loss in Ames. Self says they led at halftime, but ISU pulled away down the stretch and he says the crowd played a big role in the game. The Jayhawks are 11-0 after Sunday’s win at Kentucky. The Cyclones are 8-4.
