Iowa State rallied from a nine point second half deficit to take a two-point lead but second-ranked Kansas responded with a key 8-0 run enroute to a 71-66 victory over the Cyclones in Hilton Colesium Wednesday night.Iowa State coach Wayne Morgan on the post-game show on the Cyclone Network says he thought the team responded and did everything they could to win the game. He says if they work harder and get a little better, there are a lot of teams they can defeat. ISU trailed by three at the halftime break but the Jayhawks opened a big lead early in the second half before the Cyclones rallied. He says he’s a little disappointed in the way they started by spotting other teams 10 points at the start of the second half and then try to fight back.Curtis Stinson led ISU with 18-points but he struggled at the outset by missing 11 of his first 12 shots. The Cyclones are 8-5 overall, 0-2 in the Big-12.
