Drake hits the road to Creighton

The Drake Bulldogs are on the road tonight in the Valley to play Creighton. Drake is 2-4 in conference play and lost by three to the Blue Jays in their first meeting in Des Moines.Drake coach Tom Davis says the game was at home and he hopes his team will have the same confidence going on the rooad. The Bulldogs will face a Creighton team with added confidence after the Blue Jays beat UNI on a last second shot. Davis says UNI is one of the toughest places to play in the league. Creighton coach Dana Altman would like to see his team make their home court an advantage. He says they haven’t played well at home and have only had one home game in January.Altman expects a tough battle against Drake as he says both teams have played well against each other over the past few years. Drake is 6-8 overall.
