Newton-based Maytag will no longer be selling its washers, dryers, stoves and refrigerators at Best Buy, the nation’s fourth largest appliance retailer. Maytag officials say sales have fallen off at the stores in recent years. Sales at Best Buy accounted for about one-percent of Maytag’s revenue last year. Best Buy officials say the decision had nothing to do with Maytag’s recent five-to-eight wholesale price increase, which the company attributed to a rise in the cost of raw materials.
