The Drake men return home Saturday night to take on Southwest Missouri State. The Bulldogs are 2-5 in the valley and 6-9 overall and coach Tom Davis says his team is much improved this season even though the results don’t show it. Davis says there’s no question when you watch the tape that they’re better now than they were a year ago when it comes to rebounding and shooting. Davis says the problem for the Bulldogs is the Missouri Valley Conference is having a great year.Southwest Missouri State began the season with title aspirations, only to start 1-6 in Valley action.
