The Iowa State Cyclones try to stop their slide tonight when they visit Kansas State. The Cyclones are 0-4 in the Big-12 after Saturday’s loss at home to Colorado and would love to erase the memories of last year’s 90-59 pounding they suffered at K-State. ISU coach Wayne Morgan says the approach they have to take is that was last year and this is this year. He says there are some different players on each team and he says they have to go and play as hard as they can. The Wildcats are led by senior foraward Jeremiah Massey who is averaging better than 16-points per game. Morgan says Massey is one of the best big men in the league.Kansas State coach Jim Wooldridge says the Wildcats expect to meet a Cyclone team that will be desperate to get their first league win. He says I-S-U has played a tough schedule and he says their record is deceiving and he says the Cyclones will have some success as they move through the league. The Wildcats are 11-4 overall but at 1-3 in the Big-12 Woolridge says this is also a big game for his team. Wollridge says he needs to get his team emmotionally ready to play so they can protect their home floor. He says each team has an urgency to win.The Cyclones are 8-7 overall and have lost their last three games in Manhattan.
