UNI snaps losing streak, wins at home

January 27, 2005 By admin

UNI snapped a two-game losing streak at home with a 69-61 win over Indiana State. Ben Jacobsen scored 15 points to lead UNI. UNI coach Greg McDermott says it was a much needed win as he says their shooting woes from the three-point line continue. He says they desperately needed the win and gutted it out. McDermott a big second half by freshman foraward Eric Coleman was a key. He says Coleman’s foul trouble in the first half may’ve been a blessing in disguise as Coleman had fresh legs in the second half and scored 14 points. Elwin Huffman KOEL Oelwein
