Man shot at Cedar Falls bar

Cedar Falls police looking for the person who pulled the trigger in a shooting early this morning that left one man in the hospital. The shooting happened around two a-m today outside Club 4th-and-Main, a downtown Cedar Falls bar. Police say they received two calls that a person had been shot and was lying on the ground outside the popular nightclub. When officers arrived, they found a large crowd dispersing from the area, but no signs of a victim. Minutes later police say a man walked into Sartori Hospital seeking treatment of a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim, whose identity hasn’t been made public, is in serious conition, but his injuries aren’t believed to be life-threatening. Police are trying to find the shooter, and are asking for the public’s help in the search.
