The Iowa State men’s basketball team had their season come to an end Sunday with a 27-point loss to North Carolina in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Seniors Jared Homan and Damion Staple played their final games in a Cyclone uniform, and freshman Rashan Clark says he was sorry to see it end. “We’re really going to miss them. They helped us out a lot during the season,” he says. “I just wish we could have advanced to the next level instead of losing this game.” Clark made his comments on the Cyclone Radio Network. He finished with 13 points despite picking up two early fouls. Homan, the senior from Remsen, Iowa, was a force inside on Sunday as he collected 19 points and 20 rebounds. The game was close through the first half, but the Tar Hells depth wore out the Cyclones, who primarily used just six players in the rotation. The final score was 92-65.
