New CEO named for FCSA

March 25, 2005 By admin

The new C-E-O of Farm Credit Services of America will be Doug Stark. Confirmed this week by the FCSA Board of Directors, Stark has been the agency’s chief credit officer and also served as Interim Division President, during several years of strong growth. Stark says he has no specific goals in mind, but wants to move the association forward. Stark says he hopes to keep moving forward with the momentum and marketplace effectiveness he says they’ve seen in the last year. Stark says one of the biggest challenges for FCSA is providing value-added services for their customers. He’s credited with overseeing the introduction of new services including country home loans and the “Young and Beginning Farmer Program.” He says there are “a lot of positives,” but praises the staff and its efforts to serve customers enthusiastically. Stark says he is looking forward to leading the association. Stark says he’s excited to be in the leadership position, and with his team anticipates momentum. Ag financing giant FCSA serves over 53-thousand producers in Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Wyoming. Farm Credit Services of America is based in Omaha, and serves Nebraska, South Dakota, Iowa and Wyoming.
