Waterloo looks for series sweep

April 13, 2005 By admin

The Cedar Rapids Roughriders completed a three game sweep of Indiana Tuesday night in their U.S. Hockey League opening round playoff series and Waterloo looks to do the same tonight at Chicago. The Blackhawks lead that series two-games-to-none and expect the Steel to be in desperation mode.Waterloo coach P.K. O’Handley is interested to see how his team handles its first playoff game on the road. He says they’ve played well at home, but they aren’t looking past this game as they don’t want the series extended. With a victory Waterloo would move on to play Cedar Raqpids in the semifinal round.
