Cedar Rapids police look for boyfriend of slain woman

April 19, 2005 By admin

Cedar Rapids police say they’re trying to locate the boyfriend of a murder victim. 22-year-old Wendy Barnes was found dead in her apartment Friday. Police haven’t released the circumstances of her death, but they are treating it as a homicide. Police are asking for help in locating Barnes’ boyfriend, 26-year-old Robert Davis, who may still be in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area. Police say Davis is not officially being labled as a suspect, but they do indicate he may be connected to the case, and they want to question him. Police are asking anyone with information on Davis to call them.
