National Guard opens first multi-state recruiting office in Sioux City

April 19, 2005 By admin

The Army National Guard’s first multi-state recruiting office opened Monday in Sioux City. South Sioux City’s handy to Iowa, South Dakota, and Nebraska, where it’s that state’s 3rd-fastest growing community. They cut a ribbon Monday but the grand-opening events continue today, including a rock-climbing wall, NASCAR display you can have your photo taken with, and of course displays of National Guard vehicles and equipment. Each state will have a recruiter working out of the office, in South Sioux City’s Cornhusker Plaza.
