Bull riding hits Spencer

May 6, 2005 By admin

Two nights of professional bull riding begins tonight in Spencer. Scott Hallgren is general manager of the Clay County Regional Events Center and says the event is sponsored by the National Professional Rodeo Association.Hallgren says as opposed to other rodeos this event is solely bull riding with some 30 cowboys. Hallgren says in bull riding the cowboys are not the only ones that become well known. He says the bulls also develop reputations. He says he got one bull they have to seperate out because he doesn’t play well with others. Hallgren says he feels sorry for the cowboy that draws that bull.
