Bohannon to become a Badger

May 11, 2005 By admin

The top high school basketball player in Iowa will go to college out-of-state. Linn-Mar junior guard Jason Bohannon announced on Tuesday that he will become a Wisconsin Badger. Bohannon said earlier this month that he would wait until the end of summer to make his choice. But after visiting with the Badgers, Bohannon decided to announce earlier. He chose Wisconsin over Iowa, Vanderbilt, Stanford and UNI. Bohannon was a two-time all-state player who led Linn-Mar to the past two class 4A championship games and one title. He is the son of former University of Iowa quarterback Gordy Bohannon.
