Cement truck roll-over injures two

June 7, 2005 By admin

Two people were badly hurt Monday when a cement truck rolled over onto its side at a Main Street intersection in the town of Mapleton. Fifty-four-year-old Terry Struble of Castana was driving the truck and tried to make a left turn off Main Street onto Highway 141 when the truck flipped over onto its passenger side, and came to rest against a light pole. The wreck tore off the top off the cab and pushed it back. Struble and a passenger, 24-year-old Kurt Schmidt of Mapleton, were both taken to an Onawa hospital and then on to Sioux City.
