College players to go PrimeTime soon

The rosters are set for the Prime Time basketball league which begins on Wednesday night near Iowa City. PTL commissioner Randy Larson says the league includes a number of players from both UNI and Iowa. The league is popular with fans who want top get a preview of the incoming players but Larson says not all the new Hawks will take part this summer. Larson says the league has been entertaining and beneficial to the players because it encourages team play. PTL games will also be on Monday nights beginning bnext week. The Game Time league for women begins on Thursday night. It is starting its fourth year. The Game Time league will also play on Tuesday nights beginning next week. Both leagues run through the end of July. All of Drake’s cuurent and incoming players along with several players from Iowa State will take part in the YMCA-Capital City men’s basketball league. It is the second year for the league which will hold games on Wednesday and Sunday nights at Valley Southwoods school in West Des Moines.
