Boy missing in Fort Dodge after flash flooding

June 27, 2005 By admin

The search is underway in the Fort Dodge area for an eight-year-old local boy who vanished Sunday in flash flooding. John Jenison was reported missing at midafternoon Sunday. Fort Dodge fire and rescue crews and dive teams searched until 9 o’clock last night and quit when it got too dark. An area of a Fort Dodge park has been sectioned off, where a creek leads to the Des Moines River. Residents have been helping authorities look for the boy.
